I focus on advising closely held business owners and individuals regarding their business planning, shareholder and partner agreements, as well as business and real estate transactions.  I have extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, shareholder buyouts/dispute resolution, commercial real estate, asset and stock purchases, commercial finance and related transactions, private placements, and executive compensation, as well as in reviewing and drafting complex business agreements.

How I Serve Clients:

I focus on listening to what clients want, and providing cost-effective advice so that clients can make good decisions.   In most instances clients do not want lengthy, expensive memos about their matter; rather they seek information about risks involved so that they can make informed business decisions.  

I regularly visit my clients at their workplace, and take the time to learn about their businesses, company objectives, strategies, and opportunities.   By understanding the business objectives of clients, I am better able to provide pro-active advice in light of their business strategy. 

I, and our firm, seek to be long-term, trusted legal advisors for our clients.  Fostering long-term relationships is beneficial for clients, as legal spend can be reduced and services and advice can be provided more efficiently.  When a new matter arises, understanding the business objectives of clients enables us to quickly identify possible solutions that will be consistent with these business objectives.
