Mr. Chappell represented my daughter (then 8yrs old) and myself in what turned out to be a contentious custody issue. Without this mans expertise, knowledge, compassion and willingness to fight for my daughters best interests neither her nor I would have been able to enjoy these past 12 years! He is ...a very good human being. We were blessed to have him represent us and we both wholly recommend Steven for all legal needs.

We have been trying to settle a parenting time case since January of this year. Mr. Chappell is the attorney representing the other parent. He has been slow to respond to our attorney, he has been rude to both us and our attorney, he lied to the court when we had a trial, stating his client was wil...ling to settle, and then demanded a number of additional changes be made. He is NOT the attorney you want to work with.

I am the "other parent" in the in the review posted by Nika, "Slow, rude, and ineffective". Nika is the girlfriend of the other party to this case, and is not a legal party to our case. She has been harassing myself, and my attorney; by emailing me and my attorney directly, calling my attorney dire...ctly, and she has also been calling the appointed counselors office "on behalf of" the other party. She has been asked to stop, and has not. She is angry that my attorney won't speak with her or respond to her. My attorney did NOT lie at the trial, he represented us very, very well, and we are extremely happy with his services. Despite the challenges of dealing with this other party, he always keeps a level head and remains pragmatic and steadfast. He is most definitely the attorney to work with!
