Replied last April 16, 2015I do not know who posted this comment so I can't be sure what was said during any of our consultations about his/her case. Apparently, we won his case and he received Social Security disability benefits. I doubt I told him I was concerned about the Social Security Trust Fund running out of money. I may have told him that the Social Security judges were very much aware of the financial position of the Fund and would award benefits only to those persons who qualified by Social Security rules. Since we were successful, this person was obviously qualified. Applying for disability benefits can be a difficult and often a very long process. It can be stressful. I try to be supportive of my clients as they file appeals and prepare for the hearing. Hopefully, this person feels better now that he/she has received disability benefits.
