David Haskett has been working with me since July of 2019 on a very nasty and complicated parenting time case that was never short of unexpected twists and turns. David didn't just represent me, he FOUGHT for me and advocated for my child. Throughout the process, David was professional, compassionate..., empathetic, attentive, ethical and tough-consistently holding the other party accountable. He listened objectively and provided top notch legal advice with realistic options and approaches all while still keeping my child in mind given the complicated situation. When I came to David, I had parenting time that was only every other weekend and holidays. I have had this parenting time for the last 11 years, and despite all my efforts to work with the mom to get more time, she wouldn't change the parenting time. During my case, he never allowed the other parties ridiculous attempts to sway him in getting us anything less. In the end, David got me MORE than what I was asking for! I was awarded full sole custody with the other party receiving visitation every other weekend, and I have the child ALL summer! This case was difficult, emotional and drawn out due to choices the other party made. Even in the midst of the COVID pandemic, David always communicated with us letting us know where we were with our case, gave sound advice, and built our confidence throughout the case. David is consistently working for his clients behind the scenes and he ALWAYS makes time to address concerns and emergencies-for which we had quite a few. I cant thank David enough for the peace of mind I am experiencing for the first time since my divorce 12 years ago. What do I want to tell you about David Haskett? He is AMAZING!! David represented me with my divorce and me being a victim of domestic violence he made me feel confident in his representation of me. He was kind, truthful, patient, and respectful. I truly believe that David was on my side and not just... because it was his job. He has a genuine passion for what he does. David was tough and ethical and didn’t back down from pressure. This was a very complicated processes and David always in control made me feel assured he had me as a priority. David was amazing throughout my divorce process. He was very supportive and advocated for me at every turn. I could text him anytime I had a concern or was being bullied by my ex and he would respond immediately and help me stay calm and confident that things would work out. They worked out grea...t, I got to keep everything I wanted, including my home! One thing I appreciated also was that he would be careful not to run up billable hours for tasks that weren’t needed, and he would tell me what I could do to organize documents so that he didn’t have to bill me for those simple tasks either.
