No help at all!

Very condescending and talked about issues that were not even closely related to my case. Go somewhere else!

Excellent service

Mr. Carter helped me clear a warrant from a very old case. He was honest and direct and things came out better than I expected. The service he and his office provided me was wonderful. Thank you again for helping me.

Stop Looking Elsewhere, This Is Who You Need!

I hired Scott O Carter for a severe case against me. I was arrested in 2011 for the transportation of methamphetamine. I was given a public defender who, for a year in a half, made it seem like my case was going to be thrown away. To my surprise, it was not, and was given 58 months. I never showed up... to court to turn myself in and fled the country. My family heard of Scott's legal history and decided to hire him for my case. I spoke to him over the phone touching base on his fees and outlook of my case. Our conversation brought me hope of a lighter sentence. After 7 long years, I decided to come back to the States and face my legal issues. When I entered the country, I was apprehended and taken to jail. Because I absconded, I wouldn't be granted bail; however, Scott made it happen. On my first court date, I was informed that I was facing the 58 months that were given to me before I fled. However, before my second court date, Scott called me to tell me that he was able to work a deal out. He was able to drop the two worst charges against me which were, conspiracy and manufacturing of methamphetamine. The lesser charge I faced was possession and incredibly was given only three years probation. I must say that it was one of the greatest decision of my life to hire Scott O. Carter. Although he is very upfront, his empathy and humanity towards his clients is amazing. I do not only suggest you hire Scott O. Carter, I highly recommend it.

Profession and Precise

My fiancé and I hired Scott for a rough custody case involving my step daughter and he handled it dilegntly. He was very sensitive to our wants and needs throughout the entire case. He is a professional straight forward aggressive attorney who knows the laws first hand. The case ended in our favor. ...I am highly satisfied with his service!

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"Scott Carter has over twenty years' experience in criminal law as a former prosecutor and as a defense attorney in Klamath County. He knows the law, he has an excellent understanding of the Klamath legal landscape as far as the local judges and prosecutors are concerned. If I were ever accused of a crime, I would be in the best of hands if Scott O. Carter accepted my case. I recommend him highly for anything from simple misdemeanors to complicated high-stakes felony cases."
