Time for Social Security Sister

She is uncommunicative, unresponsive to multiple emails and phone calls and can't even be bothered to pick up the phone and apologize after missing a family court date. You'd be better off using the retainer to buy an 8-ball for your ex and his/her girlfriend/boyfriend. then at least there would be s...ome joy for someone spending your money. I can't rate her knowledge because she didn't appear in court, failed to read my ex's paper work, and never answered any of my questions. If you want to get done 'dry' and charged for the experience, then she's your gal. If you want to get divorced and stop gettin' porked, then run, don't walk, to another attorney.

Review of Kathleen Perkins

Kathleen seemed very knowledgable at our first meeting so I hired her. Then it all went down hill. She either missed or was late for court dates. I would send over information regarding my divorce case and it would go into a black hole. I often felt like she cared more about my ex-husbands rights tha...n mine. She was abrasive in court or at times non-responsive to issues that clearly warranted a response. When I did speak with her on the phone or face to face it was clear that she had not even looked at my file. I do not recommend her.

Would not recommend

Ms Perkins is knowledgable but disorganized and abrasive. She is abrasive in court and working with opposing council which can make settlement hard. She talks a good game but does not follow through. She missed filing deadlines while working on my case which cost me dearly. She was unprepared for tri...al which forced me to settle. She will lash out at others or really stretch the truth to try and cover up her own mistakes. At times when she was talk to me she had the facts so mess up I felt like she must have the wrong file in front of her.
