also known as Chris Moore
I graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1982, and have been representing injured Oregonians ever since. I represent injured workers at hearing, on appeal to the Workers Compensation Board, the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court. I am married and have been since 1979. We have two wonderful adult children living on the east coast. We have a yellow lab who keeps us company. I enjoy touring the Oregon wine country, following the Ducks. I like to cook and read books.
I have been President of the Oregon Trial Lawyers, and I have been chair or co-chair of the Workers Compensation Section of the Trial Lawyers for many years. I was recently made a fellow in the College of Workers Compensation Lawyers. I was named the Douglas Swanson Outstanding Workers' Compensation Attorney by the Trial Lawyers, and received the Douglas W. Daughtry Award of Merit by the Workers Compensation Section of the Oregon State Bar. I accepted as a life member of the National Registry of Who's Who in 2000. I was named as a member of Best Lawyers in America beginning 1999-2000. I was named to Best Lawyers in Oregon beginning 2013.

workers comp/stress claim
Chris and his staff are totally awesome. They answered all my questions, were honest in telling me where I stood with my claim, and what to expect. I highly recommend him to help your case.
"I have great respect for Chris Moore. We have worked together for several years on legislative issues to make the system better for injured workers. His contribution to making this system better cannot be understated. He is a fierce and tenacious advocate for his clients and has made outstanding case law for all injured workers."
"I wholeheartedly endorse Chris Moore. I have known Chris for upwards of 30 years and have learned much from him over the years. There may be no lawyer in Oregon who knows Oregon's workers' compensation law better than Chris Moore. For over 30 years Chris has given top notch legal representation to thousands of Oregon's hard working folk who have sustained injuries and illnesses on the job. He also contributes his time to the betterment of the workers' compensation system more than anyone else I know. He is truly a pillar of the legal community."
"Chris Moore is an outstanding attorney. He literally helped write the book on Oregon workers' compensation law. He has been acknowledged by his peers with a number of awards for his skill and professionalism. I highly recommend and endorse Chris Moore."
