LOGGERS BEWARE He doesn't work for or with hist for his client. He fills his pocket doing nothing for his client a lit

I hired this attorney to represent me when my doctor -orthopedic surgeon declared me unemployable due to a logging injury. In the year he was my attorney, I had phone conversations maybe twice. I always spoke with his assistant because he was always too busy. In that year I all but starved to death ...waiting for my hearing. At 10:00 p.m. the night before my long overdue hearing, I received a call from Mr. McKeown telling me that I had been offered 13 thousand dollars and no medical coverage for a chronic disability. I laughed thinking he was joking, and said no way. He then said take the offer or tell me where to send your f...... file to. I was floor a year without a paycheck, behind on all my bills, lost my house and was offered 13 thousand. I didn't know what to do and he knew that. I settled, that was 15 years ago. I hope he sleeps well. I'm still awake half the night in excruciating pain. I am not able to work and live on 1/4 of what I used to make. I wouldn't do that to an animal. This is my experience only.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
