In 1993, I earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in Law from the University of Oregon during which time I also worked as an environmental consultant honing my knowledge and skills by investigating sites for potential environmental liability and working with companies in contamination delineation and remediation plan alternatives.
After being admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 1994, I began working in private practice where I continued to expand my knowledge of the law. In 1999 I co-founded Yarmo and Wasley, PC in Bend, Oregon. In 2002, I relocated my private practice, the Wasley Law Office, PC, to La Grande, Oregon, where I was originally raised, and continue to help clients with their legal issues.

3 CASES
SO I HIRED MR. WASLEY FOR 3 DIFFERENT CASES. HE GAVE ME A DOLLAR AMOUNT TO SETTLE ONE OF THEM AND I ASKED IF WE NEEDED A NEW CONTRACT. HE SAID NO - HE WOULD HONOR WHAT HE SAID - THEN 3 HOURS LATER CALLED ME TO SAY HE NEEDED 8000 MORE! CROOKED AS CAN BE! THEN I HAD 2 OTHER CASES. WHEN MR WASLEY MOVED...
Ms. Miller was indeed a client on three cases. One was a contingency case, where at one point I agreed to accept X amount of dollars as my share of a proposed settlement. When the final settlement came through at more money than the first proposal, I indeed told her my share would be higher. She neglects to state that in both instances, I agreed to take less than half of what I was owed by our contract. She is defaming me by suggesting I took money in a different case I was working on with her (the burglary), but she did owe money to me on that case pursuant to an hourly fee agreement and refused to pay me despite repeated requests for her to do so. The third case with her was also hourly, involving litigation over a guardianship. Again, she owed money on that case and refused to pay despite repeated requests for her to do so. Ms. Miller was billed monthly on both of those cases for over two years. Each of the three matters resulted in favorable outcomes for Ms. Miller and in the first two, substantial amounts of money for her--much more than I am trying to collect from her now (by a factor of over 150 times). Ms. Miller’s r reaction to my resorting to a collection agency is both factually wrong and extremely disappointing, as I devoted a lot of resources to her and achieved excellent results. She knows she had outstanding balances and was warned she would be sent to collections prior to my doing so if she failed to pay.
