Janie Mogensen

I was a military wife for 18 years, travelling to many places throughout the United States and Europe.  It was a fascinating experience and taught me about different cultures and people.  I use that experience in my law practice.  I try to focus on more than just a person's legal issues.  I feel it is important to help a client stay calm and focused during a time in their lives when so much may seem to be out of control.

I began my education while stationed at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom.  I finished my bachelors of science degree, graduating cum laude, at Auburn University, Montgomery, in Montgomery, Alabama.  I finished my education in 2014, getting my law degree at the University of Oregon.  I passed the bar in 2014 and have been practicing continuously since that time.

My goal as an attorney is to do what I can to help my clients reach their goals.  If those goals are not realistic, I will tell my clients and help them readjust to something more obtainable.  I feel it is important to be upfront with clients, even if that means telling them the brutal realities of their situation.
