Neil P Halttunen

I want to thank Neil Halttunen, attorney at law, for a job well done. About 2 years ago, some terrible and false accusations were brought against me. I retained him even though not being formally charged. Later a Secret Grand Jury, without physical evidence, indicted me on 8 felony counts. I was arre...sted and placed in jail. Neil was contacted and able to secure my release on a reduced bail. In May of 2023 I went to trial and was found innocent on all charges and cleared of all accusations. I highly recommend Neil. He is knowledgeable. He fought for and obtained all possible Discovery in my case. There were over 1000 pages of documents and numerous videos and reports. Neil reviewed all of this and developed a plan for defense. All documents were filed on time. He contacted experts to assist in the defense. Neil always kept us informed of the proceedings. When we were faced with decisions, he explained the choices and the risks. During the trial, he was completely prepared. After each day in court, he returned to his office and altered and improved his closing arguments. Because of that attention, when the testimonies ended early, he was prepared to close our case. His closing was a superior effort. I can truthfully say that if I had not used Neil, I would probably be in prison now. If I need a lawyer in the future, I will start with Neil first.
