Hire Neil Now!! Tenacious, composed and professional

I had 4 criminal charges. I hired Neil to represent me after having a negative experience with my first attorney. He worked on my case for 11 months. From the first call I made until my verdict, I knew I was in good hands. The experience that lead me to need Neil's legal expertise was the most distre...ssing and emotional experiences of my life. It was part of a cascade of events that lead to a second legal case (family law)for which he referred me to his partner. If you are reading this, I imagine you are experiencing an adverse life event, like I did. Save yourself from suffering more than you have to and just hire him now. (If you're lucky, you'd have his number before ever actually needing it. Write it down now and put it in your wallet. As a matter of fact, write it down and just give it out to anyone you care about. I will hope you never need to use it). I was not my best version of myself and most reasonable people can understand how stress effects us. Neil never made me feel unreasonable or burdensome, he never made me feel like he didn't have time for me. He was prompt to respond and kept me informed. I have no legal experience. I work in the medical field. No question asked or Google-search rumination was wrong/bad, no matter how many times I needed to ask or how long I perseverated. Lawyers, in my experience, have a stereotype of being aggressive, detached, unkind, dishonest, walking around in expensive suits and charging exorbitant rates. I mention this because, at the end of our meetings, once we got the business out of the way. Neil would genuinely level with me, like a real human being, and ask me how I was doing and how everything else was going. He was supportive, encouraging, and acknowledged how hard this all was. He would share personal experience and encouraged me to take care of myself and focus on what really mattered-my child. He was well prepared for court. His notes appeared well organized and thought out. He anticipated the arguments from the other side and was prepared to make his arguments in response; I never questioned his familiarity with my case. His presence in court was cool, calm and collected. I felt well prepared for trial and knew that he was providing me with the best defense. I had a suppression hearing, a hearing to modify my release agreement and a trial. I had decisions not in my favor. I misplaced my frustration toward Neil and he was an abject professional. He continued to hear me out and work towards making sure I was getting what I felt I needed. In my trial, Neil continued to exceed my expectations. He connected with the courtroom in a way that brought comfort, humanity and empathy to the experience. I would suggest his representation to anyone and have zero reservations about it. Neil, I feel I can't adequately express, how grateful I am for you, your time, your hard work and your expertise. You deserve all the stars, not just 5.

Amazing Lawyer

Neil is amazing. He is both compassionate and fierce. He is compassionate in that he made my family feel as comfortable as one can be in a courtroom, and he is fierce as he is assertive and takes charge and he didn’t let the opposing council push him or you around. He pays attention to the smalles...t of details. He found some highly respected professionals in different aspects of the field and utilized their knowledge as well. He’s not afraid to speak on your behalf. He is well organized, professional, and well versed in the law. Glad we didn’t go anywhere else. I highly recommend him.

Impressive

Thankfully my family hasn't dealt much with court cases or attorneys. But two years ago my father was accused of some very serious charges. From the beginning Neil was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He listened to all of my fathers concerns and was available whenever he was needed. H...is honesty about everything was incredibly refreshing as he helped us move through this process. The amount of evidence alone that he went through was staggering and immense. By the time the trial came around my family felt prepared and ready thanks to Neil. He made sure my father knew all his choices available to him when the trial started. Especially understanding my fathers refusal to take any sort of a plea deal, if it was offered. He was respectful to my families religious convictions as well. The professionals/experts he brought in were very impressive, to say the least. We thought the trial was going to take two weeks, but to our relief, it only took one. A large part of that was because of Neil and his closing arguments. In the end my dad was acquitted of all the charges. It was all admirable and I can not recommend a better attorney.

Dedicated and Results Driven

A friend of mine retained Mr. Neil Halttunen as his defense attorney for a legal matter pertaining to a court ordered violation. I supported my friend throughout the process and had an opportunity to meet with and work with Mr. Halttunen on multiple occasions. Mr. Halttunen demonstrated professiona...lism and legal insight as well as applicable skills that highlighted a high degree of emotional intelligence, such as compassion and patience. Mr. Halttunen was quick to communicate and provided valuable legal insight and realistic outcomes. The terms of the violation indicated a potential sentence of six months in jail. After numerous court hearings, Mr. Halttunen challenged the notion of punitive consequences that potentially could cause more emotional, mental and financial harm, and proposed community service as well as a significantly reduced jail sentence. The outcome of the sentencing was favorable to my friend and a tremendous amount of stress and anxiety was relieved due to Mr. Halttunen’s work in, and out, of the courtroom.
