I had a job at an establishment that had been underpaying me by classifying my position as salary (the lowest amount a salary employee can be paid to legally be considered a salary) so I was in a situation the more I worked the less I was paid. Not to mention the establishment was abusive to their em...ployees and had other shady practices they engaged in that ultimately resulted In a continuation in the tradition of abuse in that particular work environment. I was unsure about wether I should week legal action for fear of not being able to work on that industry again, fear of the social ridicule I would most Iikely be opening myself up for.
