Edgar Diaz

I retained Edgar Diaz for help with a speeding violation. I was cited for traveling well above the allowed speed on a motorcycle. Edgar was competent and a great communicator. He initially attempted to work directly with the officer who wrote the citation and when that officer was not willing to comp...romise, he attended the court hearing on my behalf and was able to achieve the outcome I wanted, which was traffic school rather than a citation and record of the incident. I was issued a citation that I needed to dispute, but not having gone through the process before, I was unaware how to do so. Edgar provided great guidance and when the time came for my hearing, he was very clear with instructions and advice. He was willing to represent me remotely (small town!) a...nd accurately forecast the expected actions of the police who had issued the citation.

Edgar Diaz stayed in constant communication with me regarding my citation, walking me through the required steps.. He communicated with the court on my behalf, as well as the officer. I was able to get into the diversion program thanks to his efforts. I am very pleased and while he was great, I hope ...I don’t need him again. I highly recommend Mr. Diaz.

After my ex came after me to attempt to take full custody of our kids for no other reason than pettiness, and after see how Edgar handled my brother's custody case i right away texted him and got information and got a consultation. I told him my situation and what i was served with, he instantly got ...to work as soon as i hired him. Explained the process to me and to take plenty of notes and pictures of texts and situations my ex would do to keep our kids from seeing me or spending time with me and how she was using her mom as a shield to stop me from seeing my children he put a stop to that as soon as she got a response from Edgar. I informed him of everything i wanted witch was 50/50 custody of my kids. I did not want to lower myself and try to take full custody i wanted what was fair and what the kids needed witch is both parents in their lives and he did exactly that. He got me 50/50 custody and parenting time, compared to the 2h supervised visit once a week my ex was requesting and the supervised visit would be at her house... Thankfully even the judge put a stop to that as well. Edgar was very proffesional and extremely helpful. This was a postition i never ever wanted to be in because ive seen how the judge did my father dirty when it came to my younger sisters so i expected to lose everyting but he assured him that would not happen. I would 100% suggest Edgar to anyone going through a custody issue with their SO.
