Excellent & Caring Legal Representation

Besides being an excellent problem solver with extensive experience in family law litigation, Kristin had been a friend who cared about the long term outcome of my case, sometimes even "wearing my armor for me" as she said when I felt weary from the battle. I am forever indebted (literally and figura...tively. Haha) to Kristin and her staff. But I can tell you first hand that it was time and money well spent. What price tag can a person put on the well being of their child? I couldn't come up with one. So I moved forward knowing that Kristin would make the most of every minute that she worked on my case. And she has. The best part? Kristin has listened to me, supported me and come up with solutions for my specific case. She knew my case was unique and treated it with unique and out-side-the-box solutions. Kristin wants to see families healed and balance restored and her work takes a compassionate and reasonable approach. She has spent late nights and early mornings with me during emergency situations to make sure that the problems get resolved. Thank you so much. Lots of love for you K!!

Child custody

Kristin Lamont and her law partner Tim Brown guided me successfully through a long and difficult child custody case. They provided both the legal expertise, emotional support and strategic foresight that was needed to not only navigate the whole legal process but to ensure an outcome that was in the ...best interest of my daughter. They never lost sight of that and I really appreciate it. I would highly recommend them!

Focused on family and safety

I have had the pleasure of working with Mrs. LaMont's office on a few different occasions. During each time she was able to clearly explain different options that I was faced with and the contrast with which they might effect my bill (without giving "hard quotes", obviously). While the staff at the o...ffice is very pleasant and timely, Kristin possesses the experience necessary to surmise likely outcomes based on the situation and objectively communicate several options on how to proceed. One of our triumphs was obtaining very limited supervised visitation between my child and the bio-mom. Much of our supporting evidence came from mom herself, but were it not for Kristin's expertise and advice I surely would've settled for more middle ground (which likely would not have been as good for my child's well being in the long or short runs). If given the choice, unless I could avoid litigation altogether, I would not work with another legal professional that Kristin did not herself employ or recommend.

April

Kristin has spoke to me after hours and taken her time to explain things to me. She has a background in psycology which is so wonderful in this line of work. I have a very bad history with my ex of domestic violiance. This background allows her to understand and explain things to make not only the ...legal things better but has helped me to get better by her teaching. She has great ideas and is supportive. Very understanding and the same with her staff. When I can not handel the pressure they take over and deal with it for me. She has got my girls and I in a better place. I see us moving forward even more as we speak. Thanks Kristin and I do recommend Kristin LaMont
