This attorney told me I could rent out the home belonging to an estate that I had not been appointed personal representative of yet. He was on speaker phone when he told me so there are witnesses to that conversation. I wanted the home to generate enough income to sustain itself until I was allowed t...o sell it. The tenants wouldn't pay rent after they moved in so I took them to eviction court. The judge requested that I bring my attorney to the court date. When I notified my attorney, he would not admit to giving me the go ahead with renting the house. This was not the first time I caught him recanting a statement or misleading me. Also, he still has not provided me with a statement of accounts thus far and it has been over 3 months and two requests, since I hired him. I don't trust him to tell me the truth and I fear what his fee is going to be. When I told him I was going to seek alternate counsel, he hung up on me.
