Pick someone else, he definitely runs the clock

As already stated on here, in our experience he does not seem to understand real estate law, nitpicks boiler plate docs possibly as a mix between not understanding them and running the clock (for example, his "suggested edits" are "insert # of days in blank" where, if left blank, the following paren...thetical dictates the # of days would automatically be what he has suggested as an "edit". He charged us $300 to do that), claims he sent docs he did not which cost us days, makes basic mistakes like mixing up or omitting clients name on his own boiler plate docs, answers roughly two out of four of your questions per email, charges you for every second he rambles on about irrelevant personal anecdotes, and becomes oddly cagey around innocuous subjects. All in all, he left us feeling helpless and like he ran the clock. Really, I have a lawyer for my music, I've worked with him a lot and know what it feels like when someone is in your corner because they have your back not because they're reaching for your wallet. Avoid this guy.

How is he still able to practice law

I hired him for something that should have taken a few weeks to get done. Here we are over a year later, I'm about to lose my business and no closer to resolution.

Do not use this lawyer

We used this lawyer because another lawyer referred him for real estate issues. Unfortunately, as we found out, he has zero knowledge on real estate law. Even though we hired him and paid him and would’ve cost us more money to change lawyers, we ended up going with a different lawyer due to his lack ...of knowledge and incompetence.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
