George was so nice to work with. He listened to my case and concerns, and we settled the suit in our favor as I had hoped. He was really wonderful to work with, and put my mind at ease knowing I was in good caring hands.
George took my case when a lot of other attorneys wouldn't. It was at the beginning of the pandemic. Such a stressful time for the world and I had my life turned upside down by a surgery that went wrong.
His assistant Tanya is his right hand and they both made me feel completely supported. I never felt ignored or treated like a number. It was a very tough case to win but I did get a settlement and it wouldn't have happened without this amazing duo. So grateful for them. (SH)

Family Wills
George helped my husband and I with new wills and during the process my husband became critically ill and had to be hospitalized. George expedited the legal process and gave us tremendous peace of mind by completing the paperwork as early as possible. Professional, knowledgeable, and caring.

Slip and Fall Case
I tripped and fell on a sidewalk that was not properly maintained and broke my finger. Mr. McCoy is helping me deal with the insurance company. He is very knowledgeable regarding the laws and how they protect you. He is a straight shooter that tells you what he actually thinks instead of just telling you what you want to hear. I appreciate his honesty and would recommend him to all my friends and family.

George did a nice job for us and was very good about staying in contact and explaining our options every step of the way. He gave it his all and we prevailed in the end.

Cheap, but gives cheap quality
I had a very simple divorce case. No assets. No kids.
I was told by his paralegal that I would get money because I was kicked out of the home before the divorce was final and that my student loan debt, that we had acquired together when we were married, would be split half way. There were some other minor promises, but these were the main two.
In the end, Mr. McCoy did not back up his paralegals promises. He gave up; probably because I did no have much money.
I had to borrow money for his redued fees (which I did appreciate); however, in the end, he used the same excuse, "I have a company to run", "I have payroll to meet and utility bills. . ." It was not that I did not know this. It was upsetting because that is a given, but when looking at that industries financial revenue compared to a security guards? give me a break!
In the end, I could have done no worse by handling it myself.
The company might be OK, but as for this lawyer. . . hmf!

I am sorry to hear you had a poor experience. The situation you are describing does not sound like one in which you had the money to litigate the matter to a more just conclusion. Attorneys have to have retainers and have to have them replenished in order to run a family law business. The advise you likely received is that at the conclusion of litigation, your money situation would be no better off because of substantial lawyer fees. I reduce my fees for any client that is struggling. That doesn’t make me cheap or make the quality cheap. It is alway an option for a litigant to go to trial, but the attorney is never under an obligation to do that for free.
