Gordon Carey

Gordon T. Carey  Jr. is a partner at Anderson Carey Williams & Neidzwski who has more than 35 years of experience practicing law.  He is passionate about fighting for the rights of people, and he has helped a range of mariners, from merchant crew to dockworkers and other seamen.

Carey earned his juris doctor from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and became licensed to practice law in Washington State, the U.S. District Court of Washington, Oregon, the U.S. District Court of Oregon, the Ninth Circuit of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

He is committed to fighting for his clients best interests, no matter the circumstances of their situation. As a maritime law attorney, he is adamant about getting favorable results for those he serves, whether it is on the state level or the federal level. He represents clients in wrongful death, unseaworthiness and a variety of personal injury claims. 

 When he is not representing clients, Carey uses his spare time to engage in legal organizations. He is a member of several associations in the legal community, including his role as a proctor in the Maritime Law Association.
