Nathaniel L Funk

As Director of Legal Operations + Of Counsel Attorney at Catalyst Law, Nate works at the intersection of of law, business, and technology, and employs his legal skills and knowledge to develop innovative and creative solutions to complex legal and business problems for both our clients and the firm.

As an attorney, Nate provides risk-management and general business advice to closely-held companies, entrepreneurs, and real estate professionals. His practice focuses on general business representation, including entity formation, contract drafting and review, website terms and conditions, and general counsel services. Nate was previously Chief Legal Officer of a Portland-based online auto auction marketplace, and has also worked for three other Portland law firms, where his practice focused on a mix of litigation and transaction work.

In his role as Director of Legal Operations, Nate develops and implements systems and processes to improve the firm’s delivery of legal services, with the goal of increasing the predictability of legal fees and satisfaction of Catalyst clients.
