Brooke L Ferris

I hired Brooke L. Ferris to represent me in my divorce, and I genuinely regret the decision. From the very beginning, she set a negative tone-starting our conversation by outlining everything she couldn't do instead of offering support or constructive guidance. Throughout the process, her demeanor ...was hostile, combative, and condescending. I often felt like I was being cross-examined rather than supported. It was extremely difficult to have a productive conversation; she frequently talked over me and made it feel as if my concerns were a nuisance rather than valid parts of my case. Communication was another major issue. She was hard to reach, slow to respond, and I had to pry out basic updates or information. I never felt like I was priority. It was some weird mind game for her to make you feel stupid. What’s most frustrating is the feeling that I spent a significant amount of money simply to stroke someone’s ego. I truly wish I had saved that money for my other counsel—someone who actually communicated, advocated, and treated me like a client deserving of respect. So glad that phase is over, I would never recommend her services.

When I brought Brooke on as my attorney I was told by the firm's staff she was a "pitbull in heels" and now I understand why. On my behalf she was direct, assertive and worked hard towards meeting my case's needs. She was also communicative, knowledgeable, and always made sure I was making informed a...nd realistic decisions. Not only was Brooke fantastic, her support team was as well.

Working with Brooke was a great experience during an otherwise emotionally trying time - she was kind, knowledgeable, efficient and organized, and, perhaps most importantly, I truly felt that she had my back and gave great advice. I came into the process feeling clueless about what to do, and she did... a wonderful job of walking me through everything and keeping me well informed. She helped me get what I wanted out of my divorce settlement, including full custody of my child, by being both a guide and an advocate when I needed it most. She was very respectful about being cost effective given that I didn't have endless financial resources to work with, and did a wonderful job of staying on top of my ex's attorney when it became clear that he wasn't good about meeting deadlines, etc., which helped prevent my divorce from dragging on and on. I am grateful that she was the attorney who handled my divorce.

Brooke had to take over my case at the end due to unforeseen circumstances so our work together was short but she made a good impression. I found her very thorough and knowledgeable. She did an excellent job stepping into a complicated case mid stream, the transition was seamless. Very fair with bill...ing and great communication.
