I am a trial lawyer and litigator. My practice focuses on appellate law, health law, medical malpractice defense, and professional liability defense. I have been admitted to practice law in the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Ninth and Tenth Circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
I am a Fellow of the American Academy of Appellate Layers and was named 2014 Lawyer of the Year in Portland by The Best Lawyers in America for the practice area of Professional Malpractice Law - Defendants.
