Divorce & Real Estate Can Be Tricky & Emotional - Thank you Brett

I consulted with Brett regarding options on the family home for a client of mine who was considering a divorce. My business is home mortgage and talking through "what if" scenarios allowed me to create financing options for the client to know their options. Because of Brett's approach, the client... ended up hiring Brett to represent them for their divorce proceedings. Brett was straightforward, understanding, but didn't sugar coat realities that the client would have to address. We were a team, collaborating for the benefit of the client; Brett understood my deadlines and details required for the home financing the client wanted. This helped me tremendously do my job, and of course, the client's business/divorce settlement was concluded efficiently. Thank you Brett.

Helped while Deployed to Afghanistan

I've worked with Brett for many years, the most challenging time of my life was during my deployment to Afghanistan. I needed a voice of representation and Brett was there for me. He was very accommodating with communication barriers and helped establish not only Skype time with my son while I was in... combat, but my ex had moved across state and Brett negotiated a parenting plan that worked great for me when I returned! I got more visitation that most fathers get and I couldn't be happier with the hard work he put in for me. I would recommend anyone seeking a parenting plan to speak with Brett and get the most for their money.

"Brett and I are former colleagues from the same firm (several years ago) and have worked together and in opposition in cases since then. I have always found him to be practical and realistic - both in his advice to clients, negotiations with attorneys, and presentation to the judge. Clients need to have an aggressive advocate as well as a candid, experienced legal advisor and counselor - Brett fits the bill without question."

"I have worked on a case where Brett is an adversary to my client's interests, and I have worked on a case where my client's interests were aligned with Brett's client's interests. In both contexts, I felt that Brett's advocacy, skills and common sense approach provided value to his client. I think Brett is a good attorney and a good person. I wouldn't hesitate in referring a client to Brett because I know he'll take good care of them."
