Farm lease assistance

We were approached by a neighbor with an interest in leasing our pasture for a recreational cannabis farm operation (now legal in Oregon). Given the potential contract, land use and legal issues with such an arrangement we contacted Fritz. He reviewed the lease agreement offered by the proposed tenant, provided advice to us about this and provided recommended revisions. He did a thorough and timely job and offered excellent advice. All his revisions to the lease were accepted by the proposed tenant and incorporated into the lease. He also provided a brief letter covering all the potential legal implications for us. This put things in perspective in an objective and non-alarmist manner and helped us make a final decision. I felt much more comfortable and confident in moving forward. Well done!

Expert advice on two occasions led to successful outcomes

I've had the privilege of hiring Fritz twice for legal issues dealing with my home. On the first occasion, Fritz's advice on a potential property line dispute helped save me nearly $2000 in surveying fees. On the second occasion, Fritz was the first person to catch that a contractor had missed a critical deadline when filing a construction lien on my home. Because of this, we were able to demand that the contractor release the lien. This saved us from the nightmare of having to go to court, and also prevented us from being forced to pay an unscrupulous contractor who had done bad work. As a homeowner, I highly recommend Fritz.

My first notable conservation act was when my sister and I persuaded our parents to forgo cutting a big Doug-fir in our yard that was in the path of a proposed driveway extension.
