Grant's practice focuses on employment related issues including discrimination, harassment and retaliation under the Missouri Human Rights Act and federal law.
Grant is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association and other professional organizations. Grant is also a military veteran. His service as a corpsman in the United States Navy from 2010-2015 included a deployment to Afghanistan as a member of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Before law school and serving in the United States Navy, Grant worked a variety of jobs including as a land surveyor, retail salesman and forklift operator loading and unloading semitrailers. Through his workplace experiences, Grant gained an appreciation of the issues that workers encounter at work and why it is important to stand up for workers’ rights in the face of unfair treatment.
Grant’s personal belief that every individual must be free to pursue gainful employment without the worry of discrimination, harassment and retaliation is why he chose to practice employment law for workers.
Grant earned his juris doctor (law degree) in 2007 from the University of Missouri – Columbia and his college degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Northern Iowa in 2001. He is admitted to the Missouri and Illinois Bar.
Grant enjoys giving back and volunteering at his local veterans’ hospital.
