Jason Alan Wright

I am the founding partner of Wright Law PDX.  I have been practicing for 23 years and focus my practice on construction contracting and litigation, products liability and whole building system design and installation litigation, insurance coverage analysis and litigation, and all forms of business formation and litigation issues.

I routinely defend insurers involved in complex construction insurance coverage litigation pending throughout the country in both state and federal courts.  These actions involve a wide variety of claims, including construction risks, reinsurance transactions and arbitrations, organization formation and dissolution, environmental pollution liability, product liability, and construction defect liability.

I also represent a wide variety private businesses and owners assisting them in both transactional and litigation matters, including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, partnership dissolutions, shareholder disputes, contract disputes, trademark and patent infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, business interruption, and employment disputes.

I have tried cases throughout the United States in both state and federal courts, and have successfully prosecuted or defended matters in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Illinois, Wisconsin, Mississippi, and Texas. I have also arbitrated or mediated more than 100 matters with consistently positive results for my clients.

That is why i have repeatedly been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers as a Rising Star since 2010. This peer-elected distinction is awarded to only the top 7.5% of attorneys in the state of Oregon. In addition, in 2011, I received honorable mention in the Portland Business Journal’s Forty Under 40.
