I am thrilled with the will and estate plannning work Karen Dawson did for us! In each of our meetings together I was impressed with her professionalism, expertise, and demeanor. I admit that I wondered if the fact that I’m a nurse and my husband is a federal judge would make a difference in how she ...treated each of us, especially given the fact that she and my spouse are in the same profession and she might have been tempted to use “legalease” or discount my participation or be annoyed by my numerous questions. But I couldn’t have been more incorrect. She was respectful and in every step helpful to me as we worked through planning our trust and advanced directives etc. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. Each segment of the process went vastly better than I’d anticipated because of her complete competence and appropriate warmth and encouragement. The finished “product”, a fine binder with an explicit and easy to follow organization beautifully captures every minute detail we’d hope to be able to access readily on all the financial arrangements. I cannot express how grateful I am for her guidance and for the peace of mind fshe has fostered for our family. I especially appreciated the bright yellow checklist she provided for the front of the binder, that listed the remaining pieces that we personally needed to do to finish out the process. Karen helped us with a living trust. She explained everything thoroughly, took her time with the paperwork, gave us 30 days to fix any mistakes we found in the trust, and truly wanted our experience to be "drama free".
