Karen is wonderful to work with. She clearly explains the process and laws of estate planning in Oregon, especially since it is unfamiliar territory for us. She is thorough and offers council when we needed specific guidance, but never directly told us what decision we should make, especially in reg...ards to end of life care and decisions. We hired her specifically for estate planning, writing our wills, and establishing trusts. It can be a very daunting task, since we have never had to face the reality of planning for the future after our deaths, but Karen's process is very smooth and reassuring. We enjoyed working with Karen's calming demeanor and vast knowledge of the law surrounding trusts and estate planning. We highly recommend her!

Karen helped us understand the purpose of a Trust (and found out some of our assumptions about Trusts were not correct). We also took care of our Wills and Advance Directives at the same time. We feel more confident our wishes will be carried out with the Trust created. It will also help our Succe...ssor Trustees maneuver the paperwork after we leave this fine world. Colleen, Karen's associate, is so delightful and helpful. Karen and Colleen both made us feel welcome and comfortable in their office.

Karen was referred to me by a close friend. I asked if I would like working with her and was told most definitely that I would. Karen made me feel very comfortable and welcome. I was there to review my trust and make changes to the document. We spent a good amount of time reviewing my old document...s and giving me new information on the changes in trust documentation. I was sent home with several documents to review and fill out as well as questions regarding the items in my old trust. At our next meeting we reviewed what I had accomplished and she went over the items that I had filled out. My final meeting with Karen entailed my getting my new trust documents and a thumb drive with all the trust information on it. Everything was nicely filed in a binder and extremely easy to read. Should you be looking for an estate attorney I would definitely recommend Karen and her staff, they are incredible!

Karen did a great job with a previous probate issue we had and most recently with putting together our family trust. She is thorough in her approach and explains complex legal issues in a very easy to understand manner. I have served as trustee for two different trusts and thought I knew a lot, but... Karen's counsel helped us in our planning and to avoid some pretty big pitfalls.
