Karen helped us understand the purpose of a Trust (and found out some of our assumptions about Trusts were not correct). We also took care of our Wills and Advance Directives at the same time. We feel more confident our wishes will be carried out with the Trust created. It will also help our Succe...ssor Trustees maneuver the paperwork after we leave this fine world. I am thrilled with the will and estate plannning work Karen Dawson did for us! In each of our meetings together I was impressed with her professionalism, expertise, and demeanor. I admit that I wondered if the fact that I’m a nurse and my husband is a federal judge would make a difference in how she ...treated each of us, especially given the fact that she and my spouse are in the same profession and she might have been tempted to use “legalease” or discount my participation or be annoyed by my numerous questions. I especially appreciated the bright yellow checklist she provided for the front of the binder, that listed the remaining pieces that we personally needed to do to finish out the process.
