“In 2009 I was asked to represent 2 clients against a single debtor. One of the clients referred the other to me. I did not see any direct conflict, but the bar later determined that I should not have represented both clients and this resulted in the bar disciplining me in 2015 (even though the incident occurred in 2009). This has been a learning experience. Since then I have taken classes in recognizing client conflict.”
