We used the Oregon State Bar Referral line to find an attorney for an Assault IV case in 2017 and Ken Kissir was one of two attorneys provided. After speaking to both we decided that Ken was the most knowledgeable and personable from our viewpoint and we were glad we did. Ken was ever so patient an...d encouraging during our meetings leading up to the trial and had great insight and experience to offer which lead to the case being dismissed. After going through a very difficult divorce and custody battle with 4 different lawyers, I finally found an attorney who actually fought for me and cared about my family and the well being of my children. I used ken for my divorce and child custody case. My x acused me of being abusive to her and even convinced a judge to sign a protection order with no evidence other than her saying i tried to break a car window ( heard before i hired ken) there were so many aligations against me (most all of them no...t true).. Me being a convicted felon from many years ago i felt i had no chance in hell but ken easily leveled the playing field in my favor. I not only won but my kids are home safe with me and doing great. Im a man with a felony record but always took care of my kids and never since my kids were born have i been shady. Ken knows how to bring these things to a positive light. Dont gamble with your kids or life hire someone who is believable in court and is passionate about law. Ken know both sides as he was a prosecuter for many years i owe my life to ken for giving me back my daughters that were taken from me without reason. If u need an attorney i recommend ken kissir absolutly without question.

Ken Kissir is very knowledgeable and he took care to explain the divorce process to me well before we moved forward. We had to go to court twice and he was prepared both times even though my ex's lawyer sent us forms late the night before court, I believe on purpose, to put us on the spot. Mr. Kissir... was still ready and even emailed these forms to me for my review way past working hours. I appreciated his understanding to certain situations and his willingness to work with me regarding payment. I would recommend Mr. Kissir and have in fact done so on two occasions thus far to friends in need of legal services. Mr. Kissir is a busy lawyer, but he answered all of my questions, messages, and emails when he was able to and no harm was done in responses that didn't come back right away. Communication was good and one needs to know that the legal process, unfortunately, isn't always quick nor does it always go our way, although in my case it did. I believe Ken Kissir has provided an above average service for me and I would recommend him to others.
