I was looking up my attorney’s mailing address and some comments and decided to leave mine in response. I’ve had a business relationship with linda for over 20+ years. She has always been professional, courteous and timely. She has helped me with a divorce, as well as real estate contract issues and other business issues. Always has done the best. I work intimately with the public and am aware of those types who spew far fetched stories - like the one where they say their attorney didn’t follow through or call them back for six months. I consider that lots of people lack candor (lie) in order to build themselves up and make themselves look better when they have bad cases. Remember: an attorney can try their best, but can only do so much, especially when their client is a mutt and is less than honorable. If you want a great attorney who will work hard for you, Linda is the one. Just don’t expect her to lie on your behalf. She is highly ethical.
I found Linda to be very professional yet personable. Linda stayed in contact with me and explained any legal issues in a genuine manner. My case was eventually thrown out and I owe it to Linda.
Under the umbrella of Criminal Defense work I handle both Misdemeanors as well as felonys. I also handle DUII cases and speeding tickets for drivers with a CDL
Under the family law umbrella, I handle the following cases: Adoption; Divorce; Separation: Paternity; Custody; Support, both child and spousal; Parenting Time; as well as Family Abuse Protection Act cases;
I handle terminations of parental rights cases.
Under the umbrella of Juvenile law, I handle dependency cases. These are cases where the Department of Human Services has sought custody of the children. In some cases I represent the child and in others one of the parents.
I also handle Juvenile Delinquency cases and termination of parental rights cases.
Call me to schedule an appointment to discuss your case. I think it is important for an attorney and prospective client to meet to discuss the case prior to retaining the attorney. It is important for the client feel the attorney is one he or she can work with and trust to handle the the client's important legal issues.

Fired
Had to fire her during trial cause she hadn't helped with anything wouldn't object to anything. In my opinion she sold her soul to cps since she wouldn't hear me only them.

Non-Existant
Linda was very prompt to accept payment from me to defend against my citation. However, after she received payment I did not hear from her despite leaving messages, emails, and texts for over 6 months! Upon which I received an email stating my court case was not decided in my favor. Completely worthless.

Do not hire
I hired Linda Gouge for my divorce, it has been an on going battle for over a year now. Linda did not do anything she was asked to do. She is extremely unorganized, she forgets what you tell her, she never took the time to gain the knowledge needed to for the case. She went into every hearing unprepared and she made me represent myself during our settlement hearing. She also let my soon to be ex, and his lawyer get away with not providing a discovery hearing. She should have filed them in contempt but didnt. She even admitted she should have. Ultimately, it was a ton of wasted time and money because now I am forced to find a new laywer that will actually do their job and fight for me. I advise anyone thinking about hiring her to NOT DO IT.
