Shannon M Kmetic

Shannon Kmetic was my court appointed attorney. I looked her up and read all the awful reviews about her and my first instinct was to request another attorney but the timing of my hearing and my out of state residency made it difficult to do. I was able to contact her without much effort and she retu...rned my calls and communicated promptly with every question I asked. She was able to go to court on my behalf without my being present and did the unimaginable and was able to get my probation revoked without any sanction. I never even had to come back to Oregon for any of my hearings. I thought for sure I would have jail time and she was able to do what I never thought was possible. I’m grateful for her and am completely satisfied with her representation. She contacted my witnesses without any problem and followed through with everything she said she would. Thanks Shannon!

I would definitely not recommend Shannon as an attorney. Her lack of attention to detail cost me thousands of dollars. I feel her lack of professionalism in the courtroom also added to my losses. As a self-employed person, my time is valuable. She no-showed me for multiple appointments at her off...ice, showing a total disrespect for my time. I would offer an old saying; "you get what you pay for." Her rates might seem reasonable but not worth the risk.

In three years since she's been appointed to me. She has NEVER returned ANY calls or notes I've left for her. She treats me horribly! Like I'm a piece of trash. She has never once sat down at talked to me about my case in three years. She NEVER would show up at my court days. except A few times to ch...ange the date of my court date and then I would never hear from her!

Scheduled a consult with her, which was difficult to get as she never returned calls. Should have been the first red flag. Was extremely unprofessional. Everything she suggest was aimed at causing more confrontation to an already hard situation. You can tell she is in this for the money and not for ...servicing her client's needs or wants. Definitely has her own agenda. Turns out she's been suspended in the past. Do your homework before hiring her!
