First and foremost, I want to make sure you know that no matter your frustrations, I uphold my obligations to protect client information. I hope that you are aware that you are welcome to contact my office to discuss your billing concerns directly with me. However, I can provide a somewhat generic response. I recognize that clients are making investments in their futures (and their family's futures) when they hire an attorney. It's important that my clients understand the investment they are making. This is the reason that I send monthly invoices with specific detail about the work done and ask clients to contact me promptly with questions or concerns. It's also the reason that I don't charge for the time I spend answering billing questions. Outside of the billing concerns you indicated, I'm very glad that I was able to accomplish the legal objectives you sought when you hired me. Thank you for allowing me to help you in your case.
