an exceptional attorney

Excellent attorney for bankruptcy

I cannot say enough good things about Lyndon Ruhnke at Baxter & Baxter. I initially went to a different firm and was told I'd never qualify for a Ch. 7 bankruptcy. We had a situation where our house was radically under water and mounting bills, failed loan modifications, etc. But we have fairly high income. On a whim I decided to get a second opinion, and I am so glad that I did it. He had the exact opposite advice, and he was spot on. Lyndon guided us through everything. Most importantly, he was masterful in our discharge hearing. His style clearly put the trustee at ease (we sat through several other hearings with different attorneys, and they were absolutely BRUTAL). We sailed through ours. He is a straight shooter and totally knows his stuff. He is very confident, and he clearly has earned his right to be so. The other staff in the office were also very helpful. Highly, highly recommended.

Dependable Attorney for Debt Settlement

I hired Lyndon back in 2015 to help settle various debts. He did a phenomenal job negotiating and supporting the settlement. He didn't suggest I file Bankruptcy. I was able to purchase a house the following year and move on with my life mostly debt free, besides the mortgage. Years later I had a so called debt collector reach out to me and try to collect on one of the debts Lyndon help settle. I notified Lyndon and he dropped everything to make the appropriate phone calls, no charge. In a matter of minutes he had phoned me back letting me know it was a scam. He spoke with who the debt was originally settled with and they helped confirm it was settled. He also contacted the so called debt collector and assured me it was a scam. I didn't have to wait days to find this out it was literally minutes. Lyndon is very real, personable and empathetic. Thank you Lyndon.

Very efficient and responsive

had an issue with my house, some leftover paperwork problems that came up during all the mortgage crisis fiasco. I contacted multiple attorneys to find someone who could understand my issue and help me figure it all out....they all basically blew me off because I think it seemed overly complicated for them. I got in contact with Lyndons office and he called me back that same night we talked it over and he completely understood what the issue was and how it needed to be addressed. One week later it was all taken care of and I was able to move on with my home plans. First time I have really thought " That money I spend on legal fees was well spent" awesome all around.

Made my problems go away!

I had an very aggressive collection agency coming after me and trying to garnish me for an unjust false claim. They had me me in a corner and I felt that I had no options... Lyndon listened to my situation and I felt that he took my case personally and that he wanted to take it on just so they wouldn't get away with it. He took all of the stress and worry off of my shoulders and resolved everything very quickly, made it go away! I could not be happier with the outcome and the personal attention Lyndon gave me. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Lyndon Ruhnke

I went to Lyndon Ruhnke for a personal injury settlement after a car accident. I was extremely pleased with the amount I received in a settlement. I firmly believe that it is Lyndon's experience, expertise, and dedication to his clients that I received enough money to cover my medical needs when my insurance ran out. Excellent Chapter 13 experience!

Lyndon and Sherria were very helpful guiding me through an uncomfortable process. Sherria was awesome to work with during my case plan, and answered all of my questions in a timely fashion. Her experience was helpful in several unique scenarios I had. Lyndon and Sherria also stepped up to the plate and helped me expedite some things after the process was complete to ensure my new goals were met. I recommend their services to anyone!

Bankruptcy Summer 2014

I had several debt items resulting from Hurricane Katrina several years ago and a recent heart attack, and had little choice in what had to be done. I was very apprehensive about filing bankruptcy, but Lyndon took all the drama out as he outlined what needed to be done. Before our initial interview of over I knew what I had to do and when. Everything went exactly as he told me it would. These guys are pros and I am so glad I found them.

A lifesaver!

Lyndon helped my wife and I with both a Chapter 7 case as well as a personal injury settlement. During both cases Lyndon kept us in the loop and was willing to respond to any concerns or questions that we had in a timely manner. His paralegal Sherria also made herself available for any questions we had and did an excellent job of helping us remain calm during a very stressful time. The consummate professional

Lyndon Ruhnke handled our case professionally from the start; non-judgemental and down-to-earth. Filing BK is embarrassing enough, he and his staff always made us feel comfortable. The case was complicated: dependent parent, high current means, pending medical separation from the military. Mr. Ruhnke had to amend multiple documents due to oversights on our part and combat a presumption of abuse. Our case discharged as a Ch. 7 - no asset case in Jan. This gave us the fresh start we needed to build a strong financial future. To those considering BK, talk to an attorney; Mr. Ruhnke is a great one.

Highly Reccomend

Lyndon did a fantastic job with our case. I have the upmost trust in his professional abilities. Even after our case was settled and I still had a few lingering questions, he promptly responded to me on mulitple occasions. CH 7

After interviewing 3 attorneys I decided to hire Lyndon. His rate was the best between all 3 interviewed but more importantly his understanding of my situation was key. My case had some odd circumstances involved, Lyndon was very good at explaining how we needed to proceed and what the courts expect to see. Lyndon provided great counseling to me on how to protect my assets and earnings. I highly recommend meeting with him at a minimum (he did my consult for free) and I think you will find yourself pleased with the outcome.
