I have a complex case - it requires that I retain an attorney that is licensed to practice law in that state as well, as Oregon. Ms. North apprised me of a piece of critical information, (that has a big impact on my case) that the counsel I had before whose whole law firm retired at once, and closed... their law practice, and referred me to find another practitioner who practiced that area of law that he didn't practice, that would be the next step in my case - he didn't inform me of this critical element in my case - Ms. North DID !!!! ) I would've retained her counsel if not for needing an attorney licensed in the other state, too. In my view, she gave excellent, cogent legal advice, and others would be fortunate to retain her for her practice area(s) !!!!

I have called, and called, and called, and emailed, and emailed, and emailed... Ms. North seems to be so busy with other things, that she cannot return even the simplest email or phone call. My case was over the $15,000 mark. Must have not been enough for Ms. North to jump on and help with. Other rev...iews for her definitely prove that I am not the only one to be ignored. I wish I would have come here to see her reviews before I even spent any time or money on her. Her assistant, Betty, is a joke, and so is she! If I were you, STAY AWAY from her!

I wish I would have looked into other attorneys before hiring this joke. I paid a lot of money to be ignored by by Ms. North. She is always waiting until the last second to respond to opposing council, ignores those emails she claims to use when the phones are never working, and flat out has lied to ...my face. I bet any positive review posted was by her. What a clown. Next time I'll represent myself because at least I'll be getting somewhere instead of waiting for for her to finally decide she might contact me about my case. Very unprofessional.

Joanna is an articulate, aggressive Trial Lawyer who shows her skill before the court. I found her to be compassionate in her advocating my position. If you want a Lawyer to out smart another, or an attorney who is a winner I reccommend you hire Ms. North in a court room she is dilligent, and displa...ys an Ivy League charism, always calm under control well prepared for anything. Joanna always kept me well informed and relieved lots of stress by handling my case.She is indeed a compliment to those she represents.
