On the first scheduled appointment to sign papers to be submitted to the court instead of my now ex and myself being lead into his office he had us sit in the lobby. Papers were not ready. We had to wait about 20 minutes. When he finally printed out our documents he did not lead us to his office.... He gave the paperwork to us to review as we sat on the lobby couch. People were coming in and out from the street to other businesses. How unprofessional I thought. My experience was really degrading. After thirty eight years of marriage I felt I was entitled to more respect than this. I finally asked can we go into a private office?? Only then did he take us into a conference room. Then there were mistakes in the paperwork which needed to be corrected. He let his notary expire. Couldn't notarize document. Had to take legal document elsewhere to be notarized. Would never return my phone calls. Very frustrating attorney to work with. He might have been in business many years as a attorney but he was more aggravating than the actual divorce. Nothing is more frustrating than no follow through with client questions. I actually had to call another attorney he rents with so he could get him on the phone.
