Attorney Marcus Landsberg grew up in Los Angeles but visited his family in Hawaii every summer during his childhood. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas, and after spending a couple of years teaching English in Japan, he earned his Juris Doctorate at the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii.
Marcus spent six and a half years working at the Public Defender’s Office before opening his own firm. With more than 15 years of experience, he has obtained successful case results on behalf of his clients in Honolulu and throughout Hawaii. Thorough preperation wins the day
I have a neighbor in my HOA that was causing me problems. Complaining to my work about association issues reporting me to different agencies about things that never happened. In the end, I realized the only thing that would help was to get a Restraining Order. I took everything to Marcus and he looked it over. Working together we prepared everything for the court and we came away with what I needed to have her stop bothering me. Marcus's dedication to doing a thorough job was great. I definitely felt he was there for me every step of the way.

Detailed evaluation. Superb referral.
Although Mr. Landsberg explained that his practice wasn't ideally suited to the nature of my case, he cared enough to spend a substantial amount of time obtaining details, and giving me not only his opinion and general evaluation, but more importantly an essential referral to a top attorney who did in fact specialize in cases such as mine. I certainly wish I'd consulted with him long ago, it would have saved me a great deal of emotional turmoil and indecision. I greatly appreciate his assistance and thoughtfulness.

Marcus Landsberg IV is by far the most professional individual in his field that will not deviate from the case, and will be absolutely honest and straight forward, no BS. Upon meeting him, he basically presented himself as an easy going, yet, matter of fact type of person who has strong, positive, and very helpful words of advice to contribute, therefore, if his words are in fact, taken seriously, the outcome you anticipate will be 10-1 in your favor.

You can count on Marcus Landsberg
When you can communicate with your attorney as easily as Marcus Landsberg, the weight the world is no longer on your shoulders. Either it be by phone or email, Marcus responds in a quick and timely manner. He made sure we understood everything and potential of all outcomes of the situation. Of course winning the case is always the best outcome and that's exactly what he did, he won, not one but two cases back to back. When the odds are against you
I was arrested for assault in the second degree when an ex girlfriend showed up at my house. I had asked her to leave, to which she refused, and a physical altercation erupted. Two additional warrants materialized that no one knew about added to my situation. Mr. Landsberg was able to get the latter two dismissed and charge reduced to abuse of a household member. The plaintiff had shown to be an excellent liar and we felt this was the best way to end this ordeal. His ability to think outside the box and extensive knowledge proved what a capable attorney he was. I hope to never ever see him again for related things but will gladly go to him for future legal issues.

Marcus gets results! Stop reading reviews and call him now!
I had a very troublesome case that I was sure no person in their right mind would want to touch. I was referred to Marcus by a Law School Classmate of his who said for this case you need a "PitBull", loyal and gentle to you but ready to protect your interest against those who would attempt to do you harm. I found Marcus very enjoyable to speak with as he always made me feel at ease and explained things in a manner that a legal neophyte like me could relate to and understand He was always very direct and straightforward about what our plans were and what was worth my time, effort and money. I've had bad experiences with the rack up the billings kinda firms so i appreciated Marcus candidness and transparency. Picking an ATTY by reading a bunch of Ye!p like reviews seems a little silly to me but I hope this helps you. My best advice is stop reading this stuff and just call him. I know you cannot go wrong and I would hire his firm again in a heartbeat.

The man in the ring
I worked in court with Marcus for many years, so when I found myself needing advice, he's the one I called. That's because no one, and I mean no one, will go to the lengths he will to research all the facts, all the law, and all the options for your case. And if it goes to a hearing, no one is as tenacious and aggressive as Marcus. I've gone back to him several times for help with federal benefits I was being screwed out of and contract disputes. If I was ever charged with a crime, he'd be the first person I would call.

BRILLIANT!!
I am a hard working mother, wife and small business owner. While peddling my product I was cited by HPD for a petty misdemeanor. I was referred to Marcus Landsberg by someone that was also very satisfied with his professional abilities as a Lawyer. I felt that he was very thorough with his research in regards to the violation that I was charged with. I was offered a plea bargain of a small monetary amount but I felt strongly that I did nothing wrong and did not want this on my record. He was ready to go to trial and not take the ease way out with the plea bargain. At the trial he ate up the prosecutors(3 showed up). Very attentive, on the edge of the chair and knew his business. He had everyone scrambling, including the Judge, to understand the law and all of it's revisions. In the end I was acquitted, found not guilty! I feel very fortunate to have met Mr. Landsberg and that his professionalism, knowledge and performance were outstanding!

When life throws lemons at you, let Marcus throw them back. I could not have had better counsel to represent and defend us. Accessibility to your lawyer is so important, and Marcus was always available; quick to respond completely my concerns over the phone and email, along with as much face-to-face time as I needed.
