Knowledgeable and Professional

Kahbo Dye-Chiew was recommended to me when I first finished school and decided to stay in Hawaii about 6 years ago. I had attempted to research the immigration process for my family on my own and felt overwhelmed. She very patiently explained the process for obtaining a work visa and, later, permanen...t residency. She explained the deadlines and the probabilities of success for each level of the process. Our situation was unique and she was able to use her past experiences to predict the outcome of our situation. She even attended our interview with USCIS which put us at ease. Through all of this, she explained her rates and charges which I felt were fair and appropriate. I highly recommend KahBo and look forward to working with her when it's time to apply for citizenship.

Wonderful service due to obtain the permanent residency status

I am happy to recommend KahBo to apply a permanent residency status. She has great knowledge applying this status as well as the many experience of the people who want to apply this status. Also, she is always answering your email or phone calls as soon as possible and keep the record very well. Alt...hough I did not know anything about this process, she is not only professional but also very kindly/friendly and made me very comfortable to ask some very basic questions. She investigated and suggested the best option for me to obtain this permanent residency status, and supported me many ways in order to let me do my task simply and easily as possible. I would recommend to contact her if you are looking for a lawyer who is very responsible, kind, and knowledgeable.

Highly Recommended

I was referred to Kahbo by a trusted and well-respected attorney in Honolulu to help immigrate my wife. Kahbo helped us obtain my wife's temporary green card two years ago and most recently her permenant green card. Both times, Kahbo made the process seamless and most importantly gave us peace of ...mind. I can feel she is passionate about helping her clients navigate thru the sometimes complicated immigration process. She was sharp, professional, provided timely communication to us, and was very knowledgable. She was very accomadating to us. I highly recommend her if you want to feel confidence and peace of mind throughout the immigration process.

Kahbo Dye-Chiew helped us successfully navigate the arcane and difficult US immigration process.

The US immigration process is fraught with bureaucratic difficulties, and very precise technicalities. My goal was to live in the US while proceeding with US immigration formalities, and retaining the ability to travel outside the US during as much of the processing time as possible. Kahbo helped my ...family achieve these goals. Furthermore, although the immigration department's processing times for applications are dismaying, all our applications were processed first time through, without need for further information or corrections. Although the processing time was very long, it was the minimum possible, thanks to Kahbo's precision and skill. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone seeking visa or immigration work to the US.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
