I recently had the pleasure of working with attorney Damir Kouliev, and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. Damir is consummate professional who demonstrates an exceptional level of expertise and care while handling my legal matter. One of the things that impresses me mo...st about Mr. Kouliev is his ability to explain complex legal concepts in a way that is easy to understand. He always takes the time to listen to my concerns and answers all of my questions with patience and clarity, never once making me feel like I’m asking a stupid question. I truly appreciate his willingness to go the extra mile to ensure that I have all relegate information and am comfortable throughout the entire process. Another thing that stands out to me is Damir’s responsiveness. He always returns my calls and emails promptly and keeps me up to date. I never feel in the dark or left wondering what was going on, which is a huge relief. I got an excessive speeding ticket (a misdemeanor) during my vacation in Big Island. I made a mistake in my hurry to get to the tourist site. The ticket had potential implications for immigration status. I decided to contact an attorney and not take any chances - I am extremely glad that I worked wit...h Damir. Damir was extremely responsive to emails, gave me clear instructions on what I needed to provide. He even recommended that I do a defensive driving class online to show good intent to judge - I followed his advice and provided all the documentation and did an online defensive driving class as well. Damir also set the right expectations from the beginning without overpromising anything. I had a court appearance scheduled - however Damir was able to argue on my behalf with the judge and get the case dismissed considering my specific circumstances!! I didn't have to appear for the court appearance either because of his work. This was way beyond what I had expected. I highly recommend reaching out to him.

A less than pleasant experience. I originally contacted Mr. Kouliev for a tenant/ landlord dispute I was having. If you want someone that is personable and will communicate with you through calls, look elsewhere. I payed up to $500 in this case to have no real results from the attorney or the person ...that was being addressed. In order to get a call, you have to pay a $250 consultation fee. This confuses me if I’m paying you to draft a document, isn’t it reasonable to have a conversation? The person I was attempting to contact was extremely unprofessional and uncooperative to which I sought out guidance from the individual I was paying to help (Mr. Kouliev) and never received a response and it’s been almost a month. I would not recommend

After calling several attorneys that have not returned calls still over a week, I found Damir who responded that night after office hours. He listened and gave sound advice that was best for my situation. He started investigating immediately and included me. There were so many fear factors and he rel...ieved them one by one including the cost of his services. I will highly recommend him to others. Listening and then advocating for the client are what we should expect but not always the case. You’ll be in good hands with Damir.

He responded quickly, text me right back after my inquiry and I paid for a half hour consult. He was honest, and gave me realistic expectations of my case’s outcome. I’ve never dealt with the court system before and he patiently walked me through everything, even texting me back when I had questions.... During this stressful time, (during Covid) Damir guided me through the legal system remotely (after I returned home from vacation) providing the best possible outcome given the circumstances. 1000% recommend, and his rates were by far the most reasonable vs. the 6+ other consults I had.
