A Godsend!!!

Mrs. Vance helped me in a time that was one of the worst moments in my life! Mrs. Vance went above and beyond in my cases and worked with two different Counties, for myself and with two Father's and Grandparents at the same time. Our case went undefeated! Mrs. Vance really cares for her clients and t...heir children!

I apologize for the bad review

I apologize for the bad review. I have been going through a lot and recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Cathy Vance is an excellent lawyer, she's very understanding, knowledgeable, and caring. Words wouldn't be able to describe how amazing she is. Thank you for staying by my side even after I w...rote a bad review.

I know who posted this. People do not come to attorneys if they are problem-free. I was not upset or angry by her posting because lawyers need to be patient and empathetic to the stress of these circumstances.

"I've had the pleasure of working with this lawyer on a complicated family law case involving multiple jurisdictional issues. She is obviously a very experienced family law practitioner and extremely knowledgeable. Catherine is a staunch advocate for her clients. I feel I am a better lawyer from having the experience of working with her. I endorse this lawyer."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
