Huge RAVE for Catherine Vance!

Since losing my Home in the Paradise Fires, I haven’t had much to RAVE about until now. I found a miracle worker, Catherine Vance Attorney at Law! Despite losing her Law Office in the Fire, she continues to work hard helping People from the Ridge, and her Community. After filing for divorce, my Spo...use decided he should walk away with everything we had acquired after the Fire, Catherine agreed to help with my Case. Ms. Vance was precise, paid attention to detail, and stayed on top of everything. Never having been in a Legal battle, I had no idea what I was doing, but she did, and she kept me apprised of everything happening along the way. When I told Ms. Vance I wanted to fight back, she answered (with class, and confidence,) “I do not fight, but I do work smart, and do things the correct way”, and that she did. I can never thank her enough! If you need an amazing Lawyer, I highly recommend Catherine Vance Attorney at Law.

Should be disbarred

Misrepresented child custody case. She was paid handsomely to represent us and instead acted on her own and discussed matters that were never addressed with my wife and I, the judge ruled in favor of the other side.

Bad, bad, bad!!!

She was paid 7k to take care of 2 separate. cases relatively easy. I figured I could do it easily but it would be time consuming so I would rather higher a lawyer so it is done fast and correct, but no Im still married and I felt like she was representing him, and giving him so many chances and if I ...didnt give him a chance then its just more money out of pocket. When I. first spoke with them they also said that I would need to deal with the paralegal so my business gets take. care of and I dont get charged for having the paralegal help me, and I would only get charged if I had the "lawyer" help me. So I dealt with the paralegal, but come to find out Ive been getting charged left and right going through the paralegal. At first I thought I could trust these people considering she worked as a CPS worker, and that it's not about the money but it about the kids.... Whoa!!! was I wrong!! Nope its about the money. So if you do decide to use Catherine Vance as your lawyer be sure to document everything. I was stupid and naive, and therefore lost out on7k and still no finalized divorce. They arent professional what so ever or just plain stupidity!! they would use emails for me that I never put down in the initial intake form, I dont even know where she got the email address from. They sent important court documents to the wrong people, and as a result it effects my case. What is wrong with this law office, maybe its not a law office, its just another building with offices to take peoples money and not do the work.... You will have a better chance going thru yourself.

That's okay. My client felt so bad, but I actually laughed and told her, "Well, I could tell you were having an emotional 'bad hair day.'" Sometimes, though, even very good attorneys drop the ball. There are times when we deserve criticism. I have made mistakes---all lawyers do. Then I ask my clients, "Will you let me fix this at no cost to you?" I taught my son, "Never choke to death on the words, 'I'm sorry, I made a mistake.'" Triple your efforts and fix it.

Great Family Law Attorney

For those of you unfortunate to find yourself in family court, you know that finding a good, competent, attorney is critical. It's also important to find an attorney that's a good fit with your personality and needs. With that said, an attorney that one person might love, another might be indifferent... towards. I think Catherine Vance is an amazing attorney. She gets straight to the point and doesn't beat around the bush. She won't prop up your ego, rather making sure you have a well prepared case. It's also important to have an attorney focused on family law, and your needs specifically. Some people need a divorce attorney, some need a custody attorney. Catherine Vance specializes in custody issues and finding a solution that is in the best interests of the children, primarily. Her credentials are solid, her knowledge of family law is excellent and she has the experience to go along with it. If you're looking around for representation, definitely consider Catherine Vance for your case. Lastly, it's important to find an attorney with experience within your court system. I briefly considered hiring counsel that worked in multiple counties, but you want someone who knows the family court system in Solano County like the back of their hand. There are well documented issues with specific judges and mediators, and it's best to have assistance when navigating these murky waters.

This person is absolutely correct about having an attorney who operates well in the county of your case. Judges have their individual quirks and each county has a separate set of local rules. In looking for an attorney, do a little work to find out how regularly that attorney practices in your county.
