Nicole Rachelle Plottel

Nicole R. Plottel is a Ceritifed Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation, a Certified Specialist in Estate Planing, Trust & Probate Law by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and she is accredited by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, enabling her to represent veterans with public benefits applications and other legal issues. Ms. Plottel focuses her practice on elder law and long-term care planning, estate planning, estate administration, and Veterans Benenifts, representing clients throughout Northern California. Ms. Plottel is the Managing Partner of Harris & Plottel, LLP in Chico California.

Ms. Plottel is a graduate of Santa Clara Law at Santa Clara University and University of California Santa Barbara. 

Ms. Plottel is actively involved in a variety of professional organizations. She is a member of the Northern California chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), an organization dedicated to improving legal services for the elderly and people with special needs. Ms. Plottel is also a member of the State Bar of California's Trusts and Estates Section, particularly its incapacity committee, where she serves as an executive. This role allows Ms. Plottel to be engaged in proposed California legislation that could potentially influence California's elderly and special-needs population.

In addition to her successful legal career and involvement in various organizations, Ms. Plottel enjoys volunteering her time for her community. She is a board member of the Enloe Medical Center's Enloe Foundation, a member of the Gateway Science Museum's community advisory board and a member of the Chico Community Scholarship Foundation. Ms. Plottel is also a longtime advocate for the Alzheimer's Association.
