Biography
I am a California Elder Law and Estate Planning Attorney. My law practice centers long-term care planning including (but not limited to): Medicare, Medi-Cal, SSI, as well as Wills, Trusts (including Special Needs Trusts), Conservatorships, Trust Administration and Probate. Moreover, I advise families and fiduciaries regarding nursing home advocacy and patients’ rights.
As a former caregiver to my aging grandparents, I acknowledge the importance of high-quality, elder-centered legal representation for others experiencing the emotional, legal and financial challenges of long-term care giving.
I am a member of the following organizations:
- Sonoma County Bar Association
- Marin County Bar Association
- The Incapacity Planning Committee (a sub-committee of the State Bar Executive Committee)
- National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys
- Sonoma County Elder Abuse Prevention Council (Executive Committee)
My Achievements include:
- Past President of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Northern California Chapter
- A frequent lecturer with California’s Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB) program
- Graduate of the University of California at Berkeley (phi beta kappa) and Santa Clara University School of Law.
