D alleged to have pulled out on highwaqy causing injury to multiple victims including children passengers in other vehicle. D class A . D left the accident in 1/2 demolished truck and parked at home a ... bout 1/2 mile away. Cops got Blood and admissions and positive ID of driver.. DA filed felony dui and over .08 as felony with multi enhancements and hit and run as a felony. D looking at long prison sentence. We got multiple investigators including help from clien's insurance company and eventually got the "black box" out of the victims car to show they lied. They were going 86 mph not 55 in 55. CAusation and credibiity became an issue. Multiple demuuerrs and motions filed..several experts imployed re causation and rising BA. D got no jail and rehab only. Great result. Great client. Insurance since causation an issue paid all restitution to victims!!

I did all motions , probably 25 at least. It was one of first murder by dui cases in state. D drunk rolls hot rod jeep and passenger killed. I did DMV APS andall motions and Preliminary Examination in ... the trial court. Dennis Latimer did jury trial. Client plead in 3rd day of trial to manslaughter and got 7years and VOPs and Dui and accompanying charges dismissed. With good time D got 3 years. He had numerous dui priors and was on dui probation Deputy DA who was mean and nasty through entire matter was cited for contempt at PX and later that contributed to her suspension by state bar association and loss of job. I literally drove her nuts .There was no real defense but there was another passenger in the car who was ondui probation and not only had prior DUIs but got one after crash pending trial. We used "SODDI" defense..some other dude did it to wit the passenger. He took the 5th. It worked well. Latimer deserves the credit for the win, but I got a nasty DA! We had great investigation and experts. Facts were awful and 3+ years net was a win

Client an illegal immigrant got into a fight with a man twice his size over a "professional" woman. Client stuck victim with butcher knife in stomach and killed him. We showed it was self defense. Ju ... ry found him guilty of lesser offense of manslaughter and he got sentenced to "time served" as he had a bordr patrol hold on him. He was deported to Mexico but was back in town in two weeks!!

Murder in the first degree. Jury liked self defense argument and gave us a "time served" no more jail sentence...I didn the case for free. Client came to the aid of a prostitute and BIG guy attacked ... Pancho stuck a butcher knife in his stoomach and twisted and removed it with the victims intestines. He deserved it , Pancho only about 5ft 6 Inches and "victim" older 6 foot ass hole who was threatening a young professional lady .
