He was difficult to talk to and seemed unwilling to explain things to me and really defend me. When the plaintiffs dismissed the case, he emailed me the notice of dismissal and even though I still had a remaining retainer balance, no one at the firm would talk to me (I'm 400 miles away). I basically ...paid $1855 for this guy to file some paper work and talk to the opposing lawyers a couple of times. He was paid every cent but I feel that because he knew that I was not made of money that he just wanted the case to end like it did which was not looking out for my best interests (the dismissal did not help me). This may be how most attorneys operate but it is not right and if people accept this kind of treatment and do nothing then we are in trouble. I wrote him a respectful letter describing my dissatisfaction and of course have not received a reply.
