I worked with Jill for about a year. I found her through another attorney after suboptimal help from another local attorney. Jill is very knowledgeable; she and her office staff are prompt on returning emails and phone calls. We only had to appear once in court and she did an awesome job. As a s...ide note, the man I was divorcing was an attorney, it was a 3 year marriage and I had the assets--I had worked very hard for many years. I have no complaints and only compliments for Jill. Jill Barr is extremely knowledgeable. She knows what is important and what's irrelevant. With the years of experience she has in family law, she also knows what to expect from the courts. As such, she took much of the stress out of the experience and served as a much-needed barrier between the pa...rties. A strong advocate who fought for hard for my rights, she immediately got spousal support that paid for the retainer very quickly as well as a much greater settlement than I could have negotiated on my own. In that regard, she was well worth the money. Last, but not least, she was easy to work with and made an extremely difficult experience much easier.
