Biography
He earned his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2006, where he was awarded the Trustees Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Achievement and graduated cum laude. After law school, Mr. Smith earned his LL.M. in taxation from Boston University School of Law.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Smith received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. While earning his degree he also participated in four years of varsity football, winning two Ivy League championships.
Mr. Smith is a member of the Sacramento Estate Planning Council and a member of Sacramento Active 20/30, which provides charitable fund raising and activities for children. He is also currently a member of Sacramento County Bar Association and Philanthropic Advisors' Forum of Greater Sacramento.
In his free time, Mr. Smith enjoys traveling, participating in and watching all types of sporting events, and spending time with his family and friends.
