Christian Jason Smith

Although a Sonoma County native, Jason rooted himself in Sacramento in 2002 to attend law school at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Prior to law school he graduated with honors and awards from University of California, Santa Barbara. While in Santa Barbara his interest in the law manifested following volunteer work for California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc. – a non-profit program that provides free legal service to California’s rural poor. He now has a diverse practice focusing on areas such as business law, commercial litigation, construction, employment, entertainment and intellectual property.

Since 2005, Jason has formed and/or reorganized hundreds of businesses, processed dozens of trademarks and obtained numerous favorable results – whether plaintiff or defense – given he has helped clients recover nearly $40,000,000 and avert millions more.  In 2012 Jason received the "40 Under 40 Award" by Sacramento Business Journal and in 2013 - 2016 was selected as a "Northern California Rising Star" by Superlawyers Magazine. 

Jason seeks to provide his firm’s clients candid, responsive and thorough advice and prides himself on tireless preparation, fearlessness and work ethic. He is an avid sports fan, loving husband and father and remains actively involved in the community wherein he frequently volunteers for various organizations and previously served as the President of the East Sacramento Chamber of Commerce.
