Great attorney

I hired Rick Eldridge after spending several thousand dollars and many months with an attorney that did little to help me. In less than 4 months Rick was able to settle my divorce and save me a lot of frustration and money. His communication with me was always timely, understanding, and concise. Ang...ela his secretary/paralegal is also a delight to deal with. If you’re looking for a family law attorney that is highly skilled and will keep your best interest in focus you can’t do better than Rick Eldridge

A worthwhile call

Life can be unexpected, and suddenly needing support in family law is one of the most vulnerable spaces to find yourself in. Rick Eldridge and partners is both fierce and articulate in the manners of law but compassionate and relatable in character. He is responsive, efficient, and a wealth of exper...ience and knowledge in the legal realm… but most importantly he makes the experience of family law feel less terrifying and disempowering. I am so grateful to the quality of his services, and the relief of having support through this difficult time. I was in a very challenging and less than amicable separation that dragged on, it was a minor case that should have been straightforward… however without representation I found I kept on making compromises and never getting to settlement. the other party’s attorney refused to engage me and kept redefining the agreements. But once I enlisted Rick’s support, he went above and beyond securing my best interest. I felt like I finally had a voice in the dialogue. Despite it being a minor case, Rick gave his full attention and expertise to the matter, and made time to address all of my concerns. He gave time, consideration, and thoughtfulness, and was available to answer all questions and concerns. He saved time, energy and provided a sense is calm in a painful situation, his services were truly invaluable.

GREAT attorney - Knowledgeable and fair

Overall my divorce was going nowhere until I hired Rick. I am so pleased that Rick was able to communicate what documents were needed and his guideance through a complex procedure for CA family court. His staff is on top of the case every step of the way. You will not go wrong in hiring Rick and his... folks to handle your divorce

Completely satisfied

Rick Eldridge has my unqualified recommendation as a divorce attorney. When I sought Rick's counsel my situation seemed pretty dire: My ex, who had clearly been planning a divorce for years, waited for the 10 year mark to actually file so that this would be considered a "long-term marriage" under Ca...lifornia law. By these crazy laws I could have been responsible for her financially for the rest of her life as she, despite an elite Ivy League education, refused to work outside the home and was solely dependent on my income during the marriage. Her behavior during the marriage was terribly abusive and I was quite broken down by the time she filed. I was in such denial about the whole thing (and frankly, depressed) that I did not even show up to contest her at the initial hearing and she ended up with 90% custody and wage garnishment amounting to the vast majority of my paycheck. Several months later I picked myself up off the mat and came to Rick. What I am most thankful for, above all else, is that he was so calm and reassuring about my situation initially and did not chasten me for allowing myself to be steamrolled, focusing instead on what we had to do moving forward to end up with the best outcome. Several years later (this was not an amicable divorce in any way, and she had a very skilled attorney herself) I find myself with 50-50 custody, the family home I paid for, painful but manageable (and non-modifiable) support payments that actually have an end date within the next few years, my full pension, and vaccinated children (I am a physician and my ex, on top of the rest of it, is an anti-vaxxer). As subjectively painful, expensive, and time-consuming as this whole experience has been, objectively the outcome has been about as benign as I can imagine, and it could not have happened with the help of Rick and his team. I now have a wonderful and supportive partner, children who are doing much better than they ever were during the marriage, and heaps of gratitude to be in a position to have a secure future with my new partner and family. My advice to anyone in a situation like I was in -- get out, ASAP, and schedule a consultation with Rick.

You will not find anyone better than Richard!!!

There is truly not enough wonderful things to say about Richard and his entire office! Having an unsuccessful experience with another attorney, I was privileged to meet Richard and Deborah about 5 years ago. His professionalism, availability and understanding is second to none. The office staff ke...pt me apprised every step of the process and were always there to answer questions regarding my case. The office was very honest and upfront about everything. They didn't just tell me things I wanted to hear to make money off me like most attorneys, but instead would let me know the realty of each situation. Not once did I feel like they didn't care about my case. My case was a 5 year custody battle that they were involved in every step of the way, even late nights when needed. When I was going through this roller coaster, it was comforting to have Richard and his team on my side, fighting for my family as though it was their own! They treated myself and my kids as though we were their own family, and to this day, they will always be part of our family for all that they did. My case was successfully settled last November and without Richard, Deborah and Angela, my family wouldn't have gotten through it. Without a doubt, I highly recommended them for any Divorce or Child Custody issues that you are going through! Thank you again Richard, Deborah and Angela for all that you did for my family! I will never be able to thank you enough!
